powerty

1 -Poverty Is not something that is attached to the people who currently live under it.
People are not just poor or not poor.

2- its is a chain or series of unfortunate
and sometimes irresponsible events that lead to it.

3 -But you still have to ask?

4- Is that all the potential though, that we ascribe to people undergoing such circumstances?

5- Is it just the fact that they couldn't cut it, or is it that life dealt a bad hand.

6- Well the answer lies in a little mix of both for some, but for the vast majority its just a bad hand.

7- The reason a child of 10 years old can go about hungry in a society of abundance, is not some big accident.

8- Considering the potential that life offers, how much "value" can a human being create in a year?

9 -And how many more years does that ten year old have to be exploited for "value"

10- Is it true, that that boy's life has so little potential, that no one is willing to make a bet on it?

11- Reguardless of who the boy is... whether you know him or his parents or not..

12- Now.. what will happen to that potential, as the boy spends more and more time living in poverty?

13 -What will the mental effects of such conditions do to a bright mind with the potential of lighting up the world

14- well.. it's going to get dimmer.. and dimmer and dimmer

15 -Until It hates the world and grows to recreate the lifelong poverty,

16- Complaining bitterly about the lacks of opportunity and cold world

which is true..

17- Has to be a cold world to have turned its back on his potential

18-A world that turned its back on what he could have become.

19- Ignored the greatness that could be, and let it sink into Failure and Regrets.

20- Why should this happen at all in this world of abundance?

21- Where are the Shrewd investors who recognize "value"

22- Sadly though, Millions of Gold mines are Ignored everyday

23- Reffered to as a drag on society

24- People want to give them hand-outs.

25- Pity..

26- No one wants to Invest and Watch grow!

27- Everyone speaks of welfare and donations...

28- Building schools for children who have no where to sleep

29- Nor a thing to eat...

I can't assume i'm not poor because of any intrinsic difference between myself

And those who are living in poverty.

30- Just a matter of Accidents that separate our lives..

31- The average human lifespan is somewhere around 60-80 years in developped parts of the world

The average mortgage loan lasts about 30 years.

32- House prices range anywhere from 50k-200k on average.

33- So companies are willing to bet that much money on people's homes.

They seem to do great with a repayment schedule of 30 sometimes 40 years.

34- So the equation in my mind, to end this problem of poverty, especially within developped countries

35- is how much can be invested in a person considering a 60-80 year repayment schedule (more or less for some age groups)

Now one good thing about investing in people like that, you dont have to put it all in like a mortgage.

You can actually do this gradually over years.. unless if of course children

where you can't expect any type of repayment until adulthood.. but I have more on how to solve this later.

Now, let me know what you think about this basic model.

I have way more than this that I will be disclosing when I can find a satisfying way to put my idea into words.

36- People are worth way too much just to watch die on the side of the road.

Money can be made from helping them.. and ourselves.

No matter how far we think they are, the earth is just one big corner

And all the misfortuned are just around it

its not enough to give a man a fish, you have to stick with them till they learn how to fish!
